Although black is certainly not my favorite color to photograph, it looks great on this 1937 Delage D8 120 Aerodynamic Coupe. Although never as 'swoopy' in the french curves department as its rival Delahaye, this particular "aerodynamic" coachwork sure looks both sporty and elegant.

yes this is an Automodello… though most of their Delages are 1/43  this one was done in 1/24

This 1939 Delage cabriolet is also a D8 120 chassis but has the more typically styled coachwork by Chapron.
