you snatched those gourds from John Merritt ????
Tony must have loaded them into the old seasonally colored Cadillac, hotwired it and headed west.

Tony got excited when he snatched those gourds and forgot he lives east so he had to make a U turn.

LOL. Or perhaps he was just doing a "heat check" to dodge the lawmwen and got disoriented. Thankfully he saw the freeway exit sign saying "The Other East".
