Hard to believe...

...that Chevrolet actually offered this weird color combination. But they did.

Hey man, it was 1955! Do you remember what color your parents' kitchen was in 1955?

I'm thinkin' it was probably turquoise/white or maybe ...yellow.

I agree, saw a 59 Impala yellow with green interior, thought it was a mistake

I really like the color combo. If only this didn't have the butt wart.

++1. You hit the nail on the head Phil. The other day I was thinking...

... they used to describe our most advanced planes as 'fly by wire'....well, isn't 'THAT' what our cars are doing NOW?!

I've got '2' short, side stories.
- '3 - 1/2' years ago I moved into my new (and last) house. I bought a brand new Whirlpool washing machine / dryer set. Within '5' days the washing machine had problems. Due to a passing thunderstorm I had an undetected power surge. When the repairman showed up he hooked up my machine to his 'LAPTOP' to find the trouble!!! HUH????? Turns out there's a 'computer / motherboard' in the head-panel on the new machines.

- My uncle and my home-pc-tech have had MANY discussions on the effects of 'STATIC' electricity on computers -AND- how this is multiplied by something as simple as 'DUST'.

Now... tie this in with your post / comments.
A little spooky isn't it?!

BTW... I'm not crazy about the green interior either.

And my 'replaced'-motherboard is OK after 3+ years....KNOCK WOOD. LOL! What was 'my' solution?...

...if I'm not using the #%@ thing - it's not plugged into the wall socket.
Simple; but, effective. LOL!
