Tony P you may have some interest in this. Your great tractor pics introduced me to them in scale.

Apart from a farming accessory for the rear of the tractor this is now finished. I have another coming and there appear to be 2-3 other 1/24s that I’ll get over time. One big problem with this kit, which John B alluded to, was a protruding piece of plastic from the top of the grill which served no purpose other than to make assembly life difficult!

They really are a great addition to a scale model vehicle/car collection, especially for me with the bulk of my collection in 1/24.

Here’s the 1:1 I based mine on. It was recently for sale in Queensland.

$ 58 207357872

And here are some pics of it at the near completed stage showing all the engine area, along with a pic alongside a WCPD El Camino to show how small it actually is.

And finally completed amongst a group of 1/24 Eucalyptus.

Nice looking results.  Those protruding bits, sometimes metal, seem to happen in too many kits. Your results look great! Thanks for posting the process.

(later)  Not a kit, but here's an older Arcade in cast iron with some implements.  Not scaled but a little larger than 1/43.

hey thanks David! Really appreciate your support. Tractors have really got me in. I am actually looking at some 1/43s, but am concentrating on 1/43 buses and cars I'll never see in 1/24.
