Hello, everyone -

I just wanted to tell all of my collecting friends and
subscribers to the Car Room Magazine that I have
joined the editorial team of Die Cast X under the
title's new Editor-in-Chief, Andy Goodman, along with my
colleagues Marshall Buck and Mike Zarnock. I'll be proud to
be a part of the team that also includes Bill Bennett and
Wayne Moyer, starting with the Winter 2011 issue, available
October 4, 2011.

I'm extremely pleased to also announce that as part of my
agreement with Die Cast X, all subscription
obligations remaining from The Car Room will be
fulfilled by DCX, in the form of an extension of
existing DCX subscriptions, or as new subscriptions
to Die Cast X that will begin in October.

I am grateful to all of our friends and subscribers for
their input and their support over the past couple of years,
and I am especially grateful to Air Age Media for working
with us to allow us to honor our subscriptions with a
quality magazine dedicated to the hobby of collecting.

Thank you all - See you in October.

Best Regards,

Joe Kelly, Jr.

Joe, I hope everyone can take a step back from the high emotion and simply get back to the little (and big) cars ! This has developed into a no-win situation for everyone (although some perhaps didn't realize that) and I guess everyone learned various lessons. In any case, it always pays to look up the term "Pyrrhic victory".

Anyway ..... I like cars and I hope everyone here and elsewhere does, too ! Let that be the primary focus now and we can enjoy ALL the forums, magazines and model cars that are here and will be here in the future.

Mike

Good new Joe:

Glad you will be along side the great minds of the Dieccast model industry. I hope to receive a copy of your new publication and read your editorials soon.

Looking into the new material you spoke to us about. I have a car on order from Legacy DC4 one of the Fagino and falishi designs . I cannot wait to get. no opening feathers but suppose to be a very stunning car . as I know the owners and have seen this car in person.
Sincerely the best for you!
Bob & Sharon Geco
