How about a stunning Auburn? (Pics from my collection)

Our own Patty Henderson said it all eight years ago in her Zone review:

One of the cornerstones in the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg triangle of automotive wonder. I've just added the red version to my collection, and sitting next to Ertl's cream Cord and Clark Gable's Duesey, the Auburn has won the show. Definitely one of the prizes in 1:18 30s models. The red paint is smooth and glossy. The interior has soft seats that look like real leather, for pete's sake! Realistic 3-D gauges, no dogleg door hinges, oh my. For under $25? Makes you wonder why any collector would want to spend more for a smaller scale model. Surely, someone lost their mind at Ertl with this one. Run and get your hands on one of these. Color is your choice. I may have to get more than one version of this model for my collection.

I trust you will continue to bear with me as I work my way through the 1:18 portion of my collection. I kinda hope that some die-hard "I'm a 1:24 guy"....or girl, will look at these and perhaps consider adding this scale especially considering the dearth of Mint 1:24.

Oh well.......enjoy!

Models like this are the reason I started collecting 1/18 scale years ago. Great pictures Don.
