This very early Danbury Mint 1932 Cadillac V16 Dual Cowl Sport Phaeton was pretty well done for its time. The finish had a bit of 'orange peel' but it was still impressive.

But years later, the crown jewel was this Fleetwood Sedan. With all the luxury upholstery and wood trim, you could live in the back seat. Even the chauffer could enjoy the comfortable surroundings. It certainly met world class standards for luxury and performance.

@perrone1 That's quite an upgrade from the old DM.

have em love em. With the Fleetwood close to my all time favorite model. I have the Elliot Ness version of FMs 32 Sport Phaeton. Beautiful pictorial essays, thank you gentlemen!

Every one of these and the other '32 Cadillac models are amazing. A treasure in my collection.

@geno Hey Geno, this is the one I’ve wanted but have never could find at a price I could justify. It’s DM’s ‘32 Cadillac V16 Fleetwood. Earlier today I went to Etsy, which I very seldom do, and ran across the photo from the ad showing some packing on it. It was advertised as new in the box with papers at a $150- with free shipping. Sounded like a no-brainer to me as most of the ones on eBay seem to be fetching $200 to $300 and more. The other photo I’ve attached is a very sexy Flickr photo that I keep in my sock drawer! I happily snagged the model, I’ll post when it arrives.

@geoff-jowett Sorry to hear about your experience Geoff, hang in there. I’ve only bought three models from Etsy, actually learned about the site last year from my wife. I’ve had real good luck there, very nice models, came as described and an average of about a week delivery.

thanks Kevin, I think they're using the same international delivery services as ebay!
