Wife stayed with her mother other night...

And joked about me having other women over. I said "NO WAY! I had Motor Trend [TV] and models". And I did. I worked on models and watched Junk Yard Gold on MT. And loved every minute of it.

Oh... I get it. Clark was blessed with a nice looking wife. Vacation's' - not required.

Sorry Mr. Shamblin, I can't agree with you. I've been married for 46 1/2 years to a beautiful woman inside and out. She's been my princess from the moment we met 48 years ago. It was Roy Clark who sang, "If I Had To Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It With You", and to my wife I relate those words often.

In January this year, we found out she had cancer. She spent the entire month of February and two weeks in March in the hospital in the intensive care unit. It was the hardest thing either of us has ever faced together.

When she came home, I became her care-giver while she was tired and weak from the chemotherapy treatments. What was involved in her care by me, I can assure you I would have never imagined doing when I said "I do" all those years ago.

And I can tell you this, through this ordeal, I've come to love her even more than I ever thought I could. Two weeks ago we got our first good news, her cancer is in remission. With lots of prayers we continue to hold hands together.

And George, you and your lovely bride will be in my everyday prayers.
