And remember...

The public phone booths? and most people probably spent 9 or 10 nickels a month and now every one in the house has to have a $200-$300 smart mobile phone with a $100 monthly bill that has to be traded or thrown away every 4 months or every time a new one comes out... But that young lady was right...We didn't have that green thing back then, LMAO!

Eloy, you won't believe this but I actually saw a phone booth a couple of months ago. Actually it wasn't exactly a phone BOOTH, but rather two pay phones back-to-back mounted on a pole on Duval Street in Key West, FL

RIGHT ON JOHN - I still remember my science teacher telling us in 10th grade (1962) the earth was headed for another ice age - after 100,000 years of warming....LOL

Im younger then many here (45) but totally agree and "get" what your saying!

You forgot to mention too and Ive done this countless times and STILl to this day do this FIX things that break rather then throw them in the garbage! YES a novel concept isnt it???? Today's supposed "green" generation is also the disposable generation that throws things away constantly and gets NEW. I actually will take apart a radio, washer, dryer, Fridge, my own car, a speaker, etc.. if it breaks to see if i can fix it. I am not interested in having the newest "hottest" item on the block, nothing to prove here! So do I get points for being green? LOLOLOL
