Bug-atti, that is. FM's 1926 Bugatti Type 35, the most successful of all the Bugatti race cars, is quite the little gem. It has quite a lot of little details that really delight with very little missed as you can see when removing the seat bottom. The engine, fire wall and dash have the iconic machine turned swirl pattern. The belts are real leather with die cut buckles. I can forgive the fact that the wire chassis stiffeners are tampo'd as that would have been too labor intensive to keep the model at their standard pricepoint. If the 1/18 CMC model is out of your price range and this image is a must-have for your collection, you'll find this model will easily fit your needs.
Rich Great shots of a nice car. I’m just not into pre-1940’s vehicles and not European cars. All American for me.
Excellent photos. I was never interested in this one-looks pretty cool though.
