I loved Muscle Cars! Still do! When DANBURY MINT first gave us the '67 CAMARO, I jumped with joy, as I always liked it better than the Mustang by Ford.
When I got this Flyer from DM showcasing the YENKO SUPER CARS I was immediately talking to a DM rep to get mine delivered...yesterday! When the models did arrive, they didn't disappoint me, as I quickly realized that as cool as they look on the Flyer, they are even more spectacular looking on my shelf. A guy I worked with at the bank I was employed at, only collected Muscle Cars, he too, snatched these up fast. He was envious when I got the '69 CAMARO before him, but he got even with me when he got '69 NOVA 427 before me. I don't recall how we fared on the '69 NOVA DEUCE 350, I just remember we both got the car.
When great models from the mints, and especially DANBURY MINT are discussed, these three YENKO SUPER CARS seem to be neglected. And that's not fair because they are arguably the best Muscle Cars from any of them.

Nice looking brochure. Those are three models I did not get for whatever reason.

Geprge, I agree with you 100%. We just did not see any Nova's until these came out. I do believe Speccast made one, but no where near the detail of these. Fortunately, like you, I prefer muscle cars and customs over the originals, and I have all 3 of these. Thanks for sharing.

If you ever get the chance to add any of these three John, you won't be sorry. They really are very nicely done.
I actually have a story regarding the GREEN NOVA 427, it's one of the few times that I can say, I "HAD" a model, that I no longer have. Ans for some here, you may find that what happened with regard to that car interesting. I had a chance to get a FRANKLIN MINT 1961 LINCOLN (Red), and I made a straight up, "car for car" trade with a fellow member here on the Forum for it. I gave him the NOVA for the LINCOLN.
Now what is strange about that trade is that, I have long professed here that I'm not a fan in the least of the '61 Lincoln's. But I wanted to have one for the historical account of that Lincoln's unique new styling, so I traded the Nova for it. I'm still not fond of the Lincoln's styling, but I do like the model and I'm glad I have it. If somehow the Nova ever showed up on the Auction, and it was a reasonable price, I'd certainly look to add it back to my shelf.

George, you miss read my post. I actually have all 3 of the cars on the brochure. Love them all especially the Nova's. I am missing the black Nova that DM did. But I will find one, one day.
While I like muscle cars, my strong preference is cars from the fifties through the early sixties. Having said that, I have all three of these Yenko models and think they are very well done. Great brochure George.

You are correct, I did misread your post. Sorry about that. With regard to the Black Nova (not pictured) on the Flyer, I do have that one, and it's nice. So I hope you can find that one as well some day.

I'm still enjoying your Nova George as you are my Continental! It might sound strange but in a way its extra cool that I have a model that belonged to a fellow member. I have about a dozen models that I bought from Bob Kaempf over the years. Hes a gentleman and nice guy. Many here will remember him. All those models are "special" to me as well!
As I noted, I do miss that Green Nova, and hoping someday I'll be able to add it back to my fleet.
