OK... back by popular demand (from Tony anyway). Here's three more that I found in the dusty archives. I'm just showing what 1/24 models that came destroyed I've got everything from 1/43 to 1/12.

1 002
1 004
1 005
1 7 Litre 036
1 7 Litre 034
7 Litre 030
7 Litre 031
7 Litre 032

Damn!  Looks like Automodello sent you nightmares instead of dreams!

@pete-rovero It was an exercise in forensics to determine the cause(s) and change the design of how and where to affix the chassis as well as supporting cantilevered components with insufficient tensile strength. It's just part of the process.

Equally as awful as the previous Cord, what a shame.

Wow; I'm thinking, thanks in great part to you, that the system is now improved and plinth-mounting is much better and safer.

@perrone1 As you know, during development, handbuilts are sent from the factory to be scrutinized not particularly for build quality but for accuracy of the model in content and color veracity. Finding a correct color can be daunting as was getting the proper look of the recent aubergine Delahaye. Raffi pretty much handles those issues. Being able to "see" things with macro photography helps him to order corrections. What it takes to insure the model survives the trans-Pacific voyage is probably where I'm most helpful.

I just received a 1/24 scale model from Automodello and have always enjoyed their models. This one, a closed coupe, came with the dreaded rattle. When I opened the box everything seemed to be okay except the seat was not attached. Being a closed coupe meant very limited access to the interior but I finally managed to tilt the seat over enough to apply some glue to the bottom edges and relocate the seat in it's proper position.
