GM's personal luxury cars (Tornado, Riviera and Eldorado) in the mid to late '60s I thought were just beautiful designs and this '68 Cadillac Eldorado was arguably the most elegant of the three thanks to its roof line.... well my humble opinion anyway. This is one of the Automodello models in Sable Black.
IMO, that is one of the most beautiful Cadillacs ever designed.
I know there have been other beautiful Cadillacs throughout the years but I'm a child born in the mid '50s and I absolutely love the '66 '67 and '68 El Dorado, Riviera, and Tornado.
And, I might add, it isn't just the roof line that makes it look so beautiful. It's the sculptured fenders, beltline and everything else that add up to one DDG automobile.
I have the maroon version. Had it out on display a couple of days and I clearly recall a non collector, non car person friend saying "wow what a beautiful car".
The ElDorado is certainly beautiful with its chiseled body sculpture. Love the model and have it in Turquoise.
I'd say the 67/68 Eldorados are the best looking Cadillacs, ever. I have the green Automodello and it is us stunning.
