For comparison, attached are some photos of a real 1959 Cadillac convertible, which I took at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. Photo shows the Biarritz model, which I think is more expensive and has more chrome. A very nice car to have, if you have a very long garage.

@ed-davis That brings back memories of a really nice house I once owned that was built in the early 1920s. The only problem with it was the detached garage was built to accommodate a Model T. I would have needed two of them to fit that Caddy.
I suppose a lot of you folks over there in the U.S. would have experienced riding in one. The car was never sold in Australia but a few years back a collectors car was used to promote an Elvis impersonator show we had on at the theatre I used to manage. I sat in the front seat while we drove around the block a couple of times to heighten interest preshow. Incredible experience, just the width of the front seat, like an elongated lounge couch! Great pics as always Rich, thanks.
Great pictures Rich and Ed.
This was my first 1:24 Cadillac model, too. The 1959 Cadillac was always my least favorite of the marque. Since I got this Seminole Red model back in the day, I've come to luv the genuine automotive icon of the 1950s. I have five of these DM Caddys in my modest collection, including both Eldos.
