The first GTO model I ever bought was DM's !965 Pontiac GTO hardtop in this unusual Irish Mist finish. I love the simple straight lines of the 2nd (or actually 1st) gen muscle car and I went gaga over those side exiting split exhausts. DM was coming along in their evolution drawing to parity with FM. As was the state of the art back then, the engine bay lacked wiring and most plumbing. Dog leg hinging on the opening panels were less obtrusive and the secret of distortion-free glazing hadn't been discovered (or utilized). But the stance and veracity of the image was there and the Irish Mist finish was almost mesmerizing. The redline tires were also a nice period touch.

Rich:  I love your photos.  Each time I look at them, I see something I had not noticed on my car.  So I have to go pull it out and take a real look and see.
