[Closed] Now that DM might be out of the picture or at least hasn't been able to provide models ......

I've picked up a couple here and there on the secondary market, looking to build a few 1:24 scale models right now.

I don't need to pick up or add any DM's. I got all I wanted when they were first released.

I just got a 32 Ford Tan 3 window coupe, Both GT-1 Corvette's and ordered 2 of the 3 PS Cars from Danbury but still waiting to see if I get them, 69 Maroon Boss 428 & Maui Blue 51 Studebaker. Bought 3 Duesenbergs for parts + a Packard. How about a 52 Jaguar XK120 w/ top up and blackwalls? Follie? Yes! Plus a L/E white American La France 1/32nd Fire Engine from Norfolk, Virginia. A 3 Footer DS19 Red Convertible. Then a 1:1 1991 Miata Roadster w/ hardtop & a 1992 Toyota MR-2 Coupe Turbocharged.

Buying some plastic, and of course the 71 Mark III's. And a couple NEO 1/43's.

the Sunbeam Tiger in British green, TVR coupe in yellow and a Intermecanica Italia roadster in silver/red. All very excellent. These arrived as I prepare to ship 3 DMs just sold, the plum '67 GTO, California Kid, and '67 GTX. I'm pleased with my very slowly growing 1/43 group, as I'm sure you've seen there is huge variety in this scale at reasonable pricing. Sure makes displaying much easier!

I've added about 6 DM lately including the Dream Truck !!!

In the past week, they were selling out quickly of most anything they advertised. I missed the 56 Lincoln and 56 Fairlane. Wouldn't it be nice if the whole China debacle was just a ruse to get rid of inventory?

Got the '50 yellow Stude from DM last month and today received the '40 Ford Woody wagon in Lyon Blue from DM. Also they are shipping me the '72 Orange Vette coupe this coming week. Plus I bought four 1:18 models on auction here last month including two SS Platinums '56 Merc convert and '59 Merc convert.

Picked up the '67 Mustang Convertible from DM.

Also, picked up the DM '55 T-Bird in yellow (great little model) as well as the '65 Thunderbird (I want one of these for real) and I just picked up the '69 DM Blue Mustang Boss 302 from Tony on the D4C auction. Prices are getting crazy but you can still get what you want if you are patient.

I'm hunting down all the Corvettes.

Ed be sure to check out all the features on the 65 Bird and admire all the textures

Pull up pics of a 1:1 65 Thunderbird as well. Then and only then can you fully appreciated the job that DM did on the 64 and 65 Birds! I owned a 65 convertible so it's fresh in my mind how it looked and felt, the textures, etc. It's mind blowing and a bit creepy even how realistic it is!

Ron how do you like the Dream Truck?

I like it but mine had a passenger door that was sprung and refused to close and stay closed so I'm awaiting a replacement. I even try to tweek it to no prevail 🙁

Great ya did George! I wish I could have did that too but ......

Funds (or lack of them) kept me from doing so 🙁 So I had to add a few at a time prioritizing the must haves from the really wants from the I LIKES. Unfortunately many of the really wants and I likes were gone by the time I paid off the MUST HAVES! LOLOLOL So be it as I've now added most of the ones I wanted again, and as someone said just being patient allowed me to get most of them around cost, slightly over or in some cases even LESS then cost so it all worked out
