Now that is an auction I wouldn't touch with a ten ft pole.

I agree 100% with Tom.

Fake coins and ebay go together like bread and butter. The only way to buy a coin like that would be if it was authenticated by a third party service, or from a reputable dealer. China is flooding the market with fake coins and several numismatic organizations have been raising hell about it.

Yea its fake...and the bidders were either friends having...

fun...or trying to dupe an innocent third party who had more money than sense, and wanted to get in on the action.

PIC - $200K for a house? Wow! I wonder what that is like. I live in CA.....

.... where you can even buy a garage for $200K. A friend of mine just paid $775K for this 2 bedroom, 1 bath home in Culver City. This is a photo of HIS home and the appraisal came in at $830K! It's one of the few places in the country where values have actually appreciated.

photo no longer available

Marlowe isn't real Estate amazing in Cali!! It's like that here in NY too

I live in Queens and have a very modest townhouse (approx 1,500 Sq Ft) that's attached on an 18x100 foot lot thats currently worth around $400K Its a more remote area of Queens on the South shore. My Mom lives in Flushing/Fresh Meadows area and has a similar house to the one you just post but its brick on a 40x100 foot lot. When the market was high it was worth about $775 and now it STILL would sell for $625-$650!! Its a 2 bedroom, dining room, living room ONE bath home! I love when people who know nothing about real estate see pics and say "Whats that worth about $90,000? LOLOLOL YEah it was around 1987 What amazes me os that if you go Upstate NY about 5-6 hours you can buy HUGE homes for $175-$250K Ive seen Historic Victorians with huge properties for $350 that here in my area would sell for 1.2-1.5 Million. There was an old Cedar Victorian Mansion around the corner on a huge lot that was in dire need of repair. Well it WAS sold about 2+ years ago for 1.25 Million, torn town and SIX, yes 6 homes were built on that lot! 🙁 Sad to see an old piece of history gone. It was on the water too!

My house in Whittier is the exact same & $300,000.00 I'll gladly sell for 1/2 Mill.

It is however a 3 bedroom or as stated 2 bedroom and Den. I own a House in Seal Beach & it was over that but has settled in around $750,000.00 so Culver City well that was expensive when did they buy? When I saw your picture I thought it was my house even down to the garage on the left back. Ours has a tree in the front at about the lower left corner of the picture

David, that Seal Beach sounds about right! However, your Whittier sounds very low to me.

Marlowe it was evaluated three years ago as mom passed away & for estate purposes they said it was $400,000.00 but since has dropped almost every month. I have to allow mom's husband to live there free till he dies then I can sell it. Her husband tried to steal it stating he was entitled to it because he lived there longer than any Hosea. Or at least what his aged attorney told the court were his old man rights, testing new grounds for law. Well $80,000.00 in attorneys fees later he was told he & his attorney were wrong. However I could not recover my attorney's fees even tho I won. I also proved he was stealing mom's money but when you go to court today it is a crap shoot.
