Thanks Tony !!!!!.....a powerhouse posting !!!!! ........I "cleared" highschool in `69 and recall seeing one of these in the student parking lot.....I`m still here on earth through the graces of my poor parents who could nowhere near afford to put me into one of these rockets 😥Â

@john-barry Same sort of thing for me JayBee. I had struck a deal to buy an identical colored '69 Super Bee in 1971, which included a trade-in of my VW Super Beetle. I returned the next day with the money, etc. only to find the sales manager had sold it out from under me on a straight cash deal. I was livid and extremely disappointed as I LOVED that car, but in hindsight it may have saved my life. Lol.
A great model. I recall when this one as issued, it was very limited, and a lot of collectors missed out on it. If I remember correctly, more were found or released sometime later. I am glad I got mine.
As for the 1:1, I wasn't old enough to lust after one of these, when it came to my 1st car, a Mopar product wouldn't have been a consideration, my dad wouldn't have allowed it.

Yes!! One of my most favorite muscle cars in my collection. The color really pops and it’s a properly equipped Mopar
