kADOOONG-droooooool!!!
What is that... Hugger Orange? LOL
Miami Sand?
Don't know, but I like it, along with the roadster version of this model.
Should look great parked next to the D4C 1930 Cadillac. I'm in.
OH BOY...... There goes the Ka-ching again.... Budget? What budget??... HA!!!....
How could you disgrace a Vintage V16 Cadillac with that color combo???
It would have been far more refined and elegant in perhaps a light silvery metallic blue with solid Royal blue fenders. DM Does, however, amaze me how they really capitalize on existing tooling! Maybe they will make a non-LE model of this in a more polite color combo. Pass for me luckily lolol
Did anyone "catch" that they call this one .....
a 75th Anniversary edition? Just like they're calling all the 1957 LEs "50th Anniversary Edition" To me after you start dubbing everything an LE or such and such anniversary Edition it loses meaning FAST. If it was a Pioneering car and a true FIRST like say a 1966 Olds Toronado the 1st venture to FWD in a mass produced car by any of the BIG THREE, one could rightfully and respectfully call it a 40th Anniversary Edition (well last year anyway)and it was a VERY significant car and could have been a meaningful marketing ploy. Next year they can have fun making a million repaint LEs of all their 1958 models and market them as 50th anniversary models as well! LOLOL I'm glad I finally gave up actually thinking I could possibly buy everything that comes out to keep my collection "complete" That notion is LONG GONE! 😉
Is it Toledo Brown or Grisette Brown?
Have to agree, Phil, LEs have become a dime-a-dozen in the diecast industry. I certainly don't have the figures, but have to wonder how the designation of LE affects sales.
Agree, Phil..... TOO many repaints with an LE tag and higher price....
My buying theory has gone down the pipe that leads to the gas tank....... AARRRGGGGG!!!
Phil
I came to the same conclusion about owning every LE to have a complete collection. It is not possible. In 2008 every 58 they have will be an "Anniversary Ed" likewise so will the 59's in 2009. Of Course they will get a head start on those and market 59's in summer 2008. Now we know what to look forward to!

But there is only 5,000 pieces of "THAT COLOR" Great Limited Edition Holy Smokes to use Batman's terms.
I agree. Every year we will se a 50th anniversary this or a 75th anniversary that.
Where will this maddness end?
I was VERY disapointed that DM did not do the 57 Chevy justice with the 50th anniversary model. That is one car that does warrant a 50th anniversay edition. But I was hoping for a NEW tool, not a repainted 19 year old model. Come on DM, you can do MUCH better than that.
