Your photos make this model look great and I love the color. How is the scale on this one?
My experience w/Welly has not been good, they always seem to under scaled.

Thanks ! Just a quick measurement tends to scale this one closer to 1/26. As in other scales like 1/43, 1/32, 1/24 and 1/18, there can be a bit of a range, from somewhat underscale to even a bit overscale, at least in wheelbase measurements. If they look good or display/photograph well, it is generally OK with me personally.
Some "in-between" scales like those closer to 1/28, 1/36, or 1/48-50, are sometimes done for deliberate reasons, like display space in stores or packaging constraints. One of my Solido 1946 Chevrolet pickups is stamped on the chassis as "1/19" .... and it is ! Other models may be labeled on the chassis accurately, but are sold with or as one of the known "classic" scales when offered on-line or in stores. The Highway 61 accurate "farm scale" 1/16 truck series can be described that way, too.
A Welly worth getting is the 1/18 Ford Sunliner, as it is pretty good on scale and looks very good in either top-up or top-down form.
Great post Mike! I've never checked out Welly models. But being that your post shares an Oldsmobile, that may be the reason for me to do so. THANKS!

Welly is doing some remarkably good work. Your photo work, however, makes anything look magnificent!!
Very nice models. For a moment, I thought the merry Oldsmobile was a rare DM model I had not seen before.
Thanks ! This one being available new for virtually pocket change made it a pleasing and enjoyable addition ...... and after all, it's an Oldsmobile !
