A number of years back, MotorMax did a series of ordinary, standard 1970's type automobiles in 1/24th like this AMC Gremlin.
interesting vehicle. Mike Hachette, Whitebox, Salvat et al are bringing out a few standard 1970s American cars. Heres a 1974 Ford Maverick, from ebay.
I have the Gremlin, Maverick and Comet and while they are budget models they fill in spots in my collection that I enjoy.

Thanks ! Sometimes, standard, ordinary everyday cars are what tended to actually be seen on the streets back in the day.

Yep, these budget diecasts tended to do somewhat more unlikely models, Bob. They were certainly priced affordably, lol ! !
Mike heres a 1975 Chrysler 180, I found on ebay tonight. Not a car I'm familiar with but looks quite nice.
Geoff, that Chrysler 180 looks very well done ! If it's done nicely as this one appears to be, such everyday cars can be a good bargain and add a lot to a collection.

I would like to see the 1972 Gremlin X (304 badging) in orange done in 1:43.
I am confident that AMC Gremlin X will eventually be done in 1/43, if not by MotorMax it will be by somebody else.
Ewww; a Bumble-Bee version:
