Did anyone here ever notice that..........
In spite of the significantly higher price point at the time, Danbury took the easy way out by using the '36 Ford fenders. The '35 Fords use a slightly different shape.....a slightly concave sweep at the rear of both the front and rear fenders.
I'm still really glad to have this model...the last of a long line of quite incredibly detailed and finished 1/24 vehicles.

No. I didn't notice it before.
I am slightly disappointed though. Also curious to know if this was intentional cost reduction decision or the difference was not noted.
I do have a prototype in my collection (from Rick's collection) that shows the changes made between the 2 models.

I like this model very much. However, with the model being priced so high on the secondary market, I will just have to continue admiring it from a distance.
