And Tasteful Ones
I assume you used your favorite "crew" for these and, as always, they are well done and very tasteful. The original was very "boring". hanks for the pics Hollis.
Very sharp / great pics.
Looks great. I like it with the change. I never liked the wheels on the original.

This time my crew was me. Tires from a Johnny Lighting car. Rims and bumpers from a junk 442. Never liked the painted rims and bumpers to much yellow but really liked the car. It was a bland looking car that's why I never bought it before now. Got it on E bay a week ago. New in box very reasonable price. Read in a Muscle car book that you could get the car this way from the dealers that's when I decided to get one and make the changes. Had the parts cars already so there you have it. Not all that hard to do either.
Nicely done Hollis. I've always wanted to do the same basic thing to...
...the DM '57 Bel Air / pro-street / 'yellow'.
It's just TOO MUCH YELLOW!
I've already got the red '57 and the 'Breathless' '57...red and/or blue bumpers aren't too bad. But, the 'yellow' '57 is just too much. It needs the 'chrome' treatment restored and maybe even change the interior color.
But, I no longer have the eyesight, steady hands or even the work-space. Time caught up with me. LOL!
I like what you did, but I like the original yellow wheels & bumpers on it better.

Hollis - How difficult are the wheels to change? Do they just pop on and off?
Looks great! I really like the improvements you made.

Tim, not hard at all just peel the tires off. (Mine was very soft rubber so it was easy). The center rim will then pop off remove it then line up the other rims pegs with the holes that hold the rim in place it should snap in place once that's done then peel the tires back on. Finished The softer the rubber tires are the easer it is to do. Just be careful you don't break the whole wheel off. No tools need just your fingers.
Great Improvements - Well Done - Good job
I can hear snapping noises as I imagine myself doing that. Nice work, Hollis.
I bust out laughing when I read this Mark. Thanks for all comments from everyone.
Hollis I really like all your improvements. Great idea.
Subtle changes but I like them! Nice work
