I picked up this nice JL model, it's an LE. Does anybody know what the quantities were on 1/24 JL limited editions? It's another that was on my wanted list. I'm excited to finally get this one as well. 💯😊 I couldn't find any info on the interweb. Yeah, another sweet orange muscle car, lol.

No idea on the production numbers but, MAN, that Thunderbolt is super nice! Perfect color too!

That's nuts that they declare it a LE but don't disclose the # on car or box.

Edit: Just noticed that with JL 1/24th., that they offer various cars in various 'collections'. Such as the "Muscle Car Collection". Then there is the "Limited Edition Collectible" (printed in front top left corner of their boxes. So it may just be a name of the series and not an actual model limited to a production number. But, ????????

I have a 69 Charger from the Gold Series.  It has a larger box but doesn't tell production numbers.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. Not that it being an LE really matters, I just dig the model. I was just curious. That pic is off the internet,  I'll post better pics when I actually get it. 😊💯

Is that it listed on the back of the Chevelle box - as '64 Fairlane Thunderbolt?

Back in the early 2000's, Tony allowed me to add cars to the old diecast site list.  I added most of the Johnny Lightning cars, some with photo's and some without.  I do not recall seeing any ltd ed numbers.  Also if you search the site they are not even shown once the move was made.  I have over 40 JL cars, even the Thunderbolt, but mine is white, and none had any number showing the qty built.

I bought this Maisto kit about 20 years ago and started BMFing the trim, but moved on to other things.  It appears to be the same casting as your JL. Concerning the LE, maybe they're only produced for one year with an open ended quatitity?  Just a thought...

@pete-rovero I like the color Pete. I'll need to BMF the trim on mine and the '71 Charger I posted earlier.😊💯
