@jack-dodds ...... thank you very much Jack.....after describing Santa`s act as a "hot creep",I googled it to be sure of my terminology....I could find nothing to support my descriptive term.
......when you were still working, was the term "hot creep" used to describe a structure burglary/break-in that occurred when one or more of the residents were occupying the structure?
Absolutely NOT! I buy all my squirrel slipper gifts from Tom Oar and his brother!
Tom`s a hoot aint he ??? ...... Except for the big cat botherer, I enjoy all the "Mountain Men" segments from the comfort of my armchair

You just hit a sore spot for me. That jerk, Jake, does not hunt mountain lion's. He risks his dogs lives to merely chase them without any consequence to them despite their wanton killing of his client's lambs, calves, rancher's dogs & cats. He familiarizes them to humans and, even in his own words once, recognized that they then return without fear of man to makes it easier to hunt. It also endangers the lives of small children. He's the main reason I quit watching the show. (Off my soapbox)

Thanks for getting back to me on that Jack....
..I know I "read" it in one or another of the crime novels I used to listen to as I drove cross country......

PREE-cisely
