Back then, this 1/24 Bburago $9 diecast kit was all I could find. Back then, if you bought a Bburago in kit form, it was easier to detail and you got beautiful Cartograf decals rather than Mylar tape. I painted and detailed it the best I could even making wind deflectors and green tinted sun shades. I chopped up some figures from the parts box to position the driver with one hand on the wheel and the other on the gear shift. I gave him a rad pair of sunglasses got his admiring girl friend to nestle into the other seat. It took decades before I could finally replace it with a Franklin Mint model (last pics). I thought you might get a kick out of this oldie.
