Yea, we've all talked of the 1:24 scale cars we'd like to add to our respective collections. I've actually got many cars on my personal "Wish List", but this 1970 PONTIAC GTO in ORBIT ORANGE from GMP is one that's near the top of my list.
This is one of the reasons that I hope eventually the "Diecast Auction" site returns. I WILL NOT buy from eBay, so that is not an alternative option. I know patience is a virtue, so I'm confident that eventually that GTO will be on my shelf.

The Orbit Orange hardtop you pictured was a Phillymint exclusive limited edition of 500. It may be a bit pricy. I have the GMP issued Orbit Orange convertible, as well as the black '71 and blue '72 hardtops. GMP, in my opinion, made the best looking GTOs out there. It's a beauty for sure, and I hope you're able to add it to your collection one day.
@pete-rovero, thanks for the clarification. I do have the orbit orange convertible you spoke of and the black '71 GTO. With regard to the "bit pricey", I've heard that before, so that could well play a part in whether I am able to add this car someday. We'll see.

It is an outstanding model George. I was very fortunate to pick mine up from Philly Mint direct and it was even on sale. Even more rare is the '70 GTO Hardtop in red, it was also a Philly Mint Exclusive.
Good luck in your search. I hope one will come your way soon.
