This Harbor Blue 1957 Chevrolet was first released in 1989. Over the years, the tooling was reworked and much content and different materials were used. This original model had no opening trunk like other early DMs. It does offer a reasonably done replica of the last year Bel Air and includes the optional 245 HP 283 V8 with 2X4bbls.  You may not want to showcase this model, but it looks darned nice sitting on the shelf. The paint is flawless and the interior and dash are well replicated for the era it was made.

One of the first models I ever got from DM.  I did not remember that the trunk was sealed.  Thanks for the photos and review.

I've had mine for years too. The 57 Chev is one where we can have the set, a hardtop, convertible and wagon. Thanks Rich

My first DM model. I had no idea how many models this was going to lead to thanks to Rich and Tony.

@grockwood  I don't have a convertible anymore. I think I need to pick up one of these M2 convertible, they're just about as nice.💯👍

Is that the excuse you give your wife? It's our fault?!?! C'mon, Bob, you have to own your addiction. It's the first step on the road to recovery... as if you'd take it anyway. LOL

Bob, let’s not forget to thank your checkbook, either 👍
