I haven't bought a lot a cars in recent years because I have completely run out of display space. These were sold by Wix through auto parts stores starting in 1996. When it was first released, I thought it was pretty nice, but outside my era of collecting. Over the years, it grew on me but by the time the itch to own one got strong, it had become harder to find in the aftermarket and was fairly expensive. I was finally able to score a MIB example a couple of weeks ago for a very reasonable price.

Although not quite up to the level of the DM, FM and WCPD models, it's still pretty nice with fine fit and finish and all panels fully opening. Pictured here with the iCons 427 Cobra that I've had in my collection for years. I think they make a natural pairing. Thanx for looking.

I like ‘em. as a matter of fact, I’ve got two of the GT 40s that I need to find new owners for.

nice pic Gene and great models. Grabbed the GT40 as soon as I was aware it was available. And here are my 2 ICONs Cobras. Now my memory is appalling but I think Geno has a rare red sample? I think I'm safe in saying the consensus around here is that the Cobras are equal to mint standard? Such a shame ICONs did not continue 1/24 production.
