Margaret Hamilton wanted to be there as well but she had a houseful of people drop in on her.
"There's no place like HAT's......there's no place like Hats."
My bad. Sometimes I'm thick as a yellow brick JB....Margaret it was.

LOL....I read over my stuff SEVERAL times to make sure my words make sense.....even then, days later,I find glaring errors or omissions....the kinda stuff like,"if it`s a snake it woulda bit ya"...............................and for the record Jack,Dorothy Hamilton never attained the notoriety of her sibling, but she did endure several mishaps involving billboards tipping over onto her.......ultimately,she was incremental in the creation of the snazzy new buzzphrase: "sign here on the Dot"
JB you are a riot although I must admit I don't always understand you. Apparently Jack is on your same wavelength...love it.
Great B&W work!

Thank you Tony....before shooting yesterday,I mounted my new 105 lens to my D90.....less powerful than my "good" camera, but a charger in it`s own rite....both "depot" shoots yesterday were made with this combo.....it still surprises me to have to get 5` away to get an "entire" vehicle in the shot.....good glass is it`s own reward

a smile is a great way to start a day......keep Jack Dodds around and that just sorta happens

With the Nikkor 60 mm Micro, you can get much closer. But it is a DX format instead of the FX and not as sharp, lens-wise. Your photos are remarkably done!!

I`ll forgo the ritzy bologna meat sandwiches, eat peanut butter and jelly if I have to......but this 105 prime lens has spoiled me for "good glass"....maybe in another 6 mos, another prime lens (FX only).....as Tony Perrone was once overheard to say: "♪ look for the golden label ♫"
Nice job, I look forward to your pictures and stories every day.
@evan-morgan believe it or not Evan,
"whether or not Evan will enjoy this story line" crosses my mind each time I make one up

Well...er...Em....I suppose Dot's theatrical success, in Toto, did pale to that of her sister; especially Marg's steamy senior cameo in Red Shoe Diaries; which was a bit of a twister. But still, to coin that buzzphrase Dot was a bit of a Wizard IMO.
