I wish
CMC
Would make a 1963 Corvette 'vert ... Silver Blue / Silver Blue
1/24th or 1/18th would be just fine with me
So DIO, you don't care for the Auto Art versions of these cars?
Truth be told ... My AA experience is very very limited ...
I have only seen ( In person ) one of these offerings from the manufacturer
My excitement level was .... Not really all that excited
However
I do have a few CMC ...
So with that knowledge and personal experience ...
I've adjusted my trust level on a manufacturer that I know & trust
I'm not closed minded ... I am open minded
But I do have a nasty habit of going with what I know
So please give me more information ... because I'm not really experienced with AA diecast
I am however ...
very experienced with my weekly meetings with AA ...
But they are NOT diecast car related :O ๐
:))
Dennis you are a hoot!
Well just wait till we met N person - Jan says I'm just an old coot - Whatever that's suppose 2 mean
Dennis, I have a dozen AutoArt cars, most of which are Corvette. Their 2016 C7
Z06 is Mint quality. Their '53 Vette is the BEST version of that model on the market (even better than the Danbury Mint version). I've got their C6 coupe in yellow and the C6 racing version (without sponsor decals). They have about every Corvette model (C1 through C7) and they are all well done.
Last year I got their Lamborghini Aventador J. Pricey, but one of the most detailed cars I have. Also have their Bugatti Veyron. Very nice.
In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with AutoArt. I plan to acquire several more of the Vettes they've done, and I'm sure they'll be just about perfect.
Go for it!
Dennis I have two CMC 1:18. They’re spectacular the Blue Ferrari spyder convert and Gull Wing SLR
Mercedes 300 SLR red interior stock version. Both blow me away! I want to add the Bugatti with Crocdile interior , Red Maserati 300s,and the Aubergine Talbo Lago. I also would LOVE to add the Mercedes Pullman Limo. Pricey but looks worth it!!
Dennis, neither one of those. I do have a '63 in the silver blue, but it's 1/12th scale resin. A truly excellent model for sure - captures the essence of the '63. Just a tad on the large size.

Dennis, I have the AutoArt '63 Vette in Silver Blue-I have both the coupe & convertible
The coupe is exceptional. I have had it for a few years now.
I was thrilled with the total look and feel of the model when it arrived. I only have a couple Corvette models in 1:18, they are all from AutoArt, I wish I had a '58-still need that one.

John Merritt
South Lyon, Michigan - USA
Large is good with me ... I'm not scared
Aubergine Talbo Lago ..... Ohhhhh - That is so nice ... maybe 1 day
( oops )
So I did some Auto Art Research ..... Many thanks to all for great input - Thank you
I like the '58
Matching color combo has always been my personal fav even when buying / leasing real 1:1
The '58 has exactly that ... matching interior with matching exterior ... a major plus in my play book
AND
It appears to be spot on in almost every detail that I can see in any given photo
Now then ....
1963
The story line changes
The coupe is by far ( to me ) the better looking between coupe or 'vert
Both appear to have black interior which I can tolerate ... but not my first pick
But here's what killed tha deal ...
NO Spinner Knock Offs :O
To me ( again this is just me ) every '63 has to have the Spinner Knock offs
The hub caps added with the black interior cause me to pause before I pull the trigger
A few weeks ago, while I was at MECUM here in Central Florida ... I saw a '63 coupe .. Silver Blue / Silver Blue with Spinner Knock Off .... O M Goodness - Let me tell you ... that was one of the BEST looking cars I've ever laid my eyes on ...
I told Jan ... Honey I now know what love is ...
And ... That's how the fight got started
As she slapped the back of my head :O ๐ :p :))
I thank each & every one of for your input, your thoughts, and for your guidance
I think .... the '58 will be my first AA
I just have to clear this purchase at my weekly AA meeting at the "Y" next Tuesday night :O :))
Again
... Many thanks again for great input ...
2 Thumbs up
For those two Vette choices, don't overlook the 1:24th...
...FM 1958 version (still for sale on Legacy Motors currently)
