Sample Tuesday! Here we have a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 color sample from Franklin Mint. Enjoy!
I need some input from the group - Are you interested in seeing all 1/24 cars in the collection? Many are ordinary FM/DM cars. I want to show them because they are all beautiful; however, I also don’t want to take up everyone’s time and public resources if there is no interest. Thanks!
Lu I'm more than happy for you to continue to post. I love seeing others collections. To this point you introducing us to such unique models and remarkable one offs has been a true highlight and I'd even say also an extraordinary and an appreciated contribution to the 1/24 model collecting hobby. And with 105300 views the numbers speak for themselves. Thanks Lu.
Sure Lu; let's see then ALL!
What Tony said! Really enjoy seeing seeing them, most I've only seen in the catalogs from the mints.
Yes Lu, please continue! I enjoy seeing your color samples and other models that I didn't even know existed.
@geoff-jowett @perrone1 @pat7211 @pete-rovero Team, thank you for your feedback. Enjoy the ride 😎
Numero Uno Wednesday! Today we have a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air from Franklin Mint. This is a part of the Tinder Box collection. This little beauty wears the #1 uniform. Enjoy!
Hardtop Thursday! Here we have a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop from Franklin Mint. Enjoy!
got it, nice. Up to the early 2000s at least, one in this color was used as a daily driver in the northern Melbourne suburbs. I added the red convertible recently. The Tinderbox color is really nice.
Here’s a beauty that I recently got
this is a 1932 Cadillac V-12 Sport Phaeton
the original came out in 1987 but mine is a rerelease from 2003 I actually like the sliver and black it just a nice model overall
GORGEOUS in Silver & Black!!!
@diecastcollector99 yep totally agree. I remember being really pleased when mine arrived after a long search.
1957 Chrysler New Yorker Sports Coupe what a outstanding model I was surprised to find it to be honest the pink really pops
@perrone1 oh yeah that’s why I bought it
So I saw this beautiful 1961 Chevrolet Impala by WCPD a guy was selling it and i said to myself that’s beautiful color he wasn’t asking too much for it
so I said I’ll take it and then a few minutes later he said it comes with the 1962 Impala box and he marked it down so I was like heck that won’t stop me me from buying it he’s a nice guy anyways I bought my other WCPD Impala from him
and these models suffer from paint rash and bumps 🙁
