Its great to see that model, thanks Lu. I attached links to the Dinkum Classics story in here somewhere! Peter Brock (Brocky) was one of those larger than life characters every young male aspired to be like. Highly successful competitive sportsman, he was a promising young Australian Rules footballer, but instead chose motor racing. Great media presence, and anecdotally always reported to be a genuine great bloke. And loved by the ladies too! Married a former Miss Australia. His early death was tragic, accompanied by genuine country wide grief. Heres a link to his website, google has lots of other links too.

Models from the other side of the mountain.  All of which I've never seen before.  Thanks for sharing the great pics!

Mini Sunday! Here we have a Morris Cooper police car from Franklin Mint. It comes with a radio unit and a baton/club on the passenger seat.

Nice Mini collection Lu, some of these are very hard to find, including the police version. I have the rally version and an “artist proof” one from Roger H. collection, but the real jewel in my collection is a very early prototype of the Mini with no embossed letters on the chassis and tires without tread pattern, which was listed on eBay without being recognized as prototype and stayed on eBay for at least a week with BIN price until a bulb lighted in my head...

Lincoln Tuesday! Not the Lincoln you are expecting 😊 Today we have a Lincoln Mark LT pickup from an unknown toymaker. It came with a plastic display box with the VIN affixed to the base. Buyers of the LT trucks were given these models and the VINs match those on the actual vehicles.

Radiator Wednesday! Today we have a 1929 Cord L-29 from Esval. Similar to the Cadillac 341As, Esval did a great job with the L-29. Many photo-etched parts, beautiful paint, and an interesting subject. Enjoy!

Ha, I didn't realize that Esval already released the Cord. Looks nice. Will have to study the images a bit to see how well is done, I was unimpressed with the 1:43 version.

Looks better than the 1:43 that had too small wheels, which were too deep in the wells. Ordered one from Legacy, they have 10% off.

great to see you have one already Lu. I will get it too. Legacys 10% off is tempting. I have the 1928 Cadillac 341A Town Sedan, waited a while and thanks to a Forum member tip, and John Ks help, I was able to get it at a substantial discount. Not sure about waiting here though with an edition of only 300. Also keen to hear your opinion of the model Chav.

I have the Lincoln LT pickup. A friend, who was formerly the business manager at the local Ford/Lincoln dealership, gave me the model...he said that the zone manager gave it to him as part of a promotion.

The 1928 Cadillacs were also editions of 300, if I am not mistaken, and they stayed available for sale for long time; so I think the Cord will be available for some time; July 4th sale is coming, but I have not seen sales of more than 15% lately by Legacy/Mint Models. However you can follow the European vendors too ...

I have multiple copies of the DM 1/16 version, love the car and the DM model, if you can ignore the scale difference that is a much better and cheaper model.
