Cadillac Saturday! Today we have a white metal 1948 Saoutchik from Motor City USA. The company produced a resin version first with yellow headlights, then the white metal version with clear headlights. The early white metal cars were sold without the exhaust tips due to shipping damage and return concerns, but the tips were added later. All the resin cars were equipped with their exhaust tips. Stay tuned for the resin car tomorrow.
superb model, hope one day to add one, thanks Lu.
Ford Monday! Today we have a Ford F250 from Brookfield Collectors Guild. No, it is not plastic, and it is not a coin bank. The shape is accurate, and the details are adequate. It is basically a diecast curbside model with a functional tailgate. This little gem came with a nicely detailed FXDX Harley Davidson motorcycle, which I packed away
It’s So Bad That It's Good Tuesday! Here we have a Jinbei (Gold Cup) Haise. Put on some shades, this chromed beast may burn out your retina. Jinbei is a joint venture between Brilliance Auto and Renault, and the Haise is based on the Toyota HiAce. The promo was produced to commemorate the completion of the first unit in 1991.
now that is a sunglasses model! Unusual too.
ahah, that one I have, still searching for no 10 at a reasonable price.
great stuff, how good are those wire wheels? Thanks Lu. Curious, do have their D Type Jaguar? I have quite a few Holy Grails but the D Type is top of the list.
@geoff-jowett Thanks!!! I don’t have the #6 Spark/LM Jaguar D-Type. Hope to add one in the future.
Happy toy car hunting!
