Interesting response re the front of the car. My black 71 is packed away unfortunately but the front of my blue 72 seems to match pics of 71s for sale on the auctions with its hood scoops, nogap headlights, less bulbous grill partition.
Gave me a chance to have a close look at the 72. Outstanding series of models aren't they? Have a look at that engine bay.

Just trying to be funny ...
the spoiler lip was removed from the production version and the license plate is different
Chrysler Saturday! Here we have a 1996 Chrysler LHS from Brookfield Collectors Guild. It is not as intricate as FM/DM products, but all four doors, hood, and trunk are functional, and the front wheels are steerable. It was refreshing to see a model of a modern vehicle when others were focusing on vintage cars.
Van Sunday! Today we have a fifth-generation Toyota HiAce H200 from DISM. The rear hatch and the side sliding door are operable, and the front wheels are poseable. All badges are photo-etched. Similar to other DISM cars, the suspension height and camber angle are adjustable. This one came with an optional body kit and some custom parts such as interior pieces and license plates.
Cousin Monday! Here we have a Foton MPX-S which is a rebadged Toyota HiAce L200 LWB. The fit and finish is very similar to early 2000s FM/DM products. The hood, front doors, side doors, and rear hatch are functional, the front wheels are steerable, and it has a felt carpet.
Variations Tuesday! Today we have a Foton View CS2 - the diesel MPX-S. Other than the little red diesel badge on the b-pillar, there is hardly any difference.
Diesel Racer Wednesday! Here we have a 2006 Audi R10 TDI race car from the LM/Spark/Red Line series. In a nutshell, it is a curbside beauty with tons of details. Audi introduced the R10 TDI in 2006, and it dominated Le Mans until the R15 replaced it in 2009. R10 was the first diesel car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Surfing Friday! Today we have a 1949 Mercury Woody Surf Wagon from Danbury Mint. I think it came out toward the end of DM's diecast venture. This little gem is definitely getting hard to find. The FM Ford version is a little more on the hot rod side.

Beautiful pics !!!!...............where`s that ol` Surfin` Bird?
Bavarian Saturday! Here we have a BMW Z1 from Schabak. The hood, trunk, and the vertical sliding doors are functional. This is not a precision diecast, but it’s an accurate interpretation of the real thing.
