Unique 1/24

Nice Hummers, I bought one of the FM Hummers for my son several years ago. I am trying to stay away from military vehicles and trucks. The Johnny Lighting truck looks great. So-real also makes the more civilian H2 on monster truck chassis.

Volvo Friday! Today we have a Volvo 850 from Dinkum Classics. Very rare car. 

very rare and very nice. I'd be interested to know where you bought your Dinkum Classics Lu. I've posted the story of the business here earlier. Great posts as always.

@geoff-jowett Thank you for the kind words. Most of my Dinkum Classics came from Australian collectors and toy dealers, a few came from Japan, and one from a toy show in Chicago.

G Nose Saturday! Today we have a Datsun 240Z G Nose from Franklin Mint.     This little gem was modeled after Mr. Yutaka Katayama’s personal car. To the diecast legend who passed this one to me, thank you!!!

that has to be a oneoff Lu? Ebbro did the G nose, I'm looking hard for that brown/maroon version. The colour is perfect too.

I think FM was ready to produce it but the project fell apart for some reason, have to check my emails with Raffi ... I think we talked once about this model. One sold on ebay about 5-6 years ago for ~$700, I knew about 2 others in existence. I would love to have it in my collection, and I don't necessary mean a FM sample in particular, I mean Katayama’s personal car ... so I was thinking at some point repainting a brown Ebbro. However the Ebbro has right sided steering wheel, and Katayama’s car is left sided.

Also, the 1:1 has black front bumper, that is inaccurate on the FM rendering.

The Ebbro Fairlady is one of my favourites. Great detail. I picked up this M2 version a few months back. I guess u could say typical, acceptable, M2 standard.

@geoff-jowett I have the 4 Ebbro's and 2 Japanese cars Hachette, no FM, the M2 looks good too.

Those are very nice!  Ebbro made some great 1:24th models in their day.  I have the white Toyota 2000 GT and love it.  It’s nicely detailed and the scaling of the panels is amazing.  

Custom Sunday! Here we have a Chevrolet C10 from DM. Beautifully done. The motorcycle in the trailer is even better.
