Flame Tuesday! Here we have a 1949 Ford Custom Coupe from Danbury Mint. The curly flame is nicely done. Highly recommended!

I have the Curly Flame Ford and agree it is so precisely done. That First Gear Dodge is a beauty. Thanks Lu.

Ahead Of Its Time Wednesday! Today we have a 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO from Jouef Evolution. Too bad that they didn't make more 1/24th scale cars. Enjoy!

Golden Thursday! Here we have a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Bond car from Danbury Mint. The model is feature-rich, and the gold version is shiny for sure 😊

That gold Aston is really difficult to photograph. Still, I'd like one.

I have the silver bond one and this gold one.  I’m 95% sure that’s it’s 24k gold plated and it came with its own display case and wooden base with name plate.  It’s definitely a stand alone piece.  These have sold in the past for $550/$800+ but I think they’ve come down a bit.  Nice model though!

Football Friday! Today we have a 1967 Austin Big John Mazmanian Gasser from Design Studio/Motor City USA. The actual car was nicknamed "Football" for its unique look.

Cobra Saturday! on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, let’s take a look at a sample set from Franklin Mint. The three Cobras are finished in red, white, and blue to represent the flag of the United States of America. FM decorated the red and blue with #98 on the hood and doors. The white car has a personal message on the hood from Mr. Carroll Shelby and his signature on the trunk lid. The set came with a wooden display, a metal carrying case, a booklet, and a large aluminum “Franklin Mint Prototype” sign.

This is a toy car forum, so I don’t want to derive too far; however, let’s all do something kind today to honor the victims and their loved ones.
