excellent Lu, very hard to find and pricey.
Bucket Friday! Today we have Norm Grabowski’s Kookies Kar from Danbury Mint. Highly recommended!
Excellent! Also like Ed Roth's 'The Outlaw' T-Bucket and the 'Beatnick Bandit' in the background!!
@donderbeestje That is a Tinder Box exclusive 1947 Bentley Mark VI. Tinder Box is a tobacco retailer with multiple locations in the U.S. Tinder Box was a Franklin Mint dealer and had four dealer exclusive cars. Please see the photo below. Anyway, the 'Mr. Zippity Do Da' name is a tribute to the 1,200 frogs used to make the crimson red upholstery. Yes, you read it correctly – the car has a frog skin interior. The mascot is a gold-plated frog 😕
I've always liked oddball car design, along with beautiful Cadillacs etc. Had to get one of these when I found it on ebay. A Hachette 1/24 1956 Tatra 603-1. According to Wikipedia Tatra "is the third oldest company in the world producing cars with an unbroken history". Its got that designed by a committee look, may well have been in early 50s Communist Czechoslovakia.
Thank you for the info. Didn't know Tinder box was related to FM. Read about the interior made of the frogs. But didn't know the mascot was supposed to be a frog too.
