The '62 is by far my favorite Oldsmobile; the design is fantastic.  I love the '61 for sure but it just can't compete.

Ed my memory is OK, but not that good. I do keep basic records in a file folder and a looseleaf binder.

For me it's the '61 for its one year only pointed back. I can understand raving about the '62 for sentimental reasons...but other than that I don't see any reason to go gaga about it...to me it's just another car.

As always, to each their own.  But me?  I'm glad that "pointy back" was just one year.  I couldn't drive a car that was "pointing backwards".  Smile
