That was the 365th car I showed! Thank you for all the comments and the 49,151 views. I can’t believe it has been a whole year. Hope this post makes you smile everyday. More to come 😊
Maroon Friday! Today we have a 1937 Studebaker Dictator Coupe from Danbury Mint. This is a relatively rare model. Compared with the Bermuda blue version, this one did not come with the front license plate. Enjoy!
Benchmark Saturday! Here we have a 1998 C5 Corvette from Franklin Mint. This is a production quality sample. The class of 1998 can be seen in the last photo. Enjoy!
Luxury Barge Tuesday! Here we have a 1994 BMW 740i from Minichamps. Looks like the underworld bosses are having a meeting today. Unbeknownst to them, someone in a white cargo van is listening in…
Resin Wednesday! Today we have a factory-built 1957 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Tour de France from MG Models. This is a pure curbside model with no opening features. Enjoy!
Legend Friday! Today we have an AE85/86 Series Toyota Levin/Trueno GT-APEX from DISM. The AE86 is probably the most respected drift car in the world due to its nimble handling, responsive steering, and peppy engine. If you haven’t, please watch the movie Initial D. Enjoy!
No Continental Kit Saturday! Today we have a 1953 Buick Skylark from Danbury Mint. It is somewhat unique and can be found quite easily. Highly recommended!

This model was very rare one until 2-3 years ago when someone found a stash of them in a Michigan advertisement company, he still sells them for $65 on eBay.
Continental Kit Sunday! Another red Skylark from Danbury Mint. Other than the continental kit, there are several minor differences such as the front seats. Anyway, the blue one is still my favorite.

The red without connie was apparently done at the time of the maroon or blue version, that why the front seats are not separated. The rumor is that the red connie-less version was commissioned for GM employees for the 50th Buick anniversary in 2003. Apparently, the majority of the batch was never distributed to employees and stayed in a warehouse in Michigan until the owner of the above-mentioned advertisement agency died and his son started selling old inventory. The red connie version was a later DM release with enhanced seats, connie and removable top. Literally, DM killed the value of the red connie-less "limited edition", they could had made another color and give collectors even better set.
