More Racers Friday! Let's take a look at DM’s 1965 Canyon Racer today. DM’s modified Corvette line was exceptional. The parts count is high, and fit-and-finish is excellent. These cars still look sophisticated even by today’s standards.

Bonus Friday – Repair! I just realized that the August 8, 2022 FAW CA71 was a rerun (previously posted on August 30, 2021.) To make it up, I will show a minor repair I did on an Automodello 1966 Ford Galaxie. The trim on the right front fender was damaged, and the replacement decal showed up in my mailbox after a quick chat with Jim at Automodello. Thanks, Jim!!!
You can see the damage below. I removed the old decal and cleaned the area.
Applied the new decal. Very happy with the result

Sample Sunday! Here we have an early developmental sample of FM’s Mercedes Benz W196 R. The most apparent difference is the exterior color - the production version is a couple of shades lighter. The engine compartment and the interior color scheme are also a little different. In the last photo, the sample is on the left, the production version is on the right. Enjoy!

Numero Uno Monday! Today we have a Callaway C12 Corvette from FM. This is the number one car of the signature edition. It’s probably just me, but I usually don’t like signatures on model cars 😆
Word of caution: if someone presents you with a #1 FM limited edition car, make sure it comes with the green factory tag + #1 COA + #1 serial number sticker on the outer white box. Happy diecast hunting!
