Went to the countryside for meetings today. Saw a couple of familiar faces (and backs)...

Due to repaid economic growth, Vietnam imported many semi-trucks from the U.S.

New Discovery Friday! I’m finally home after 36 hours of flying and waiting around. Without further ado, here is the 1/24 VinFast LUX A2.0. The four doors are functional, and the front wheels are steerable. The model is made in China. The built quality and the packaging are similar to the GAC models, so I suspect the same vendor produced these models. Enjoy!

The VinFast LUX is a nice-looking sedan.  Where can you buy these models?

@pete-rovero These came out a couple of years ago, and they are getting hard to find. I bought mine from Mo Hinh Tinh Viet Nam in Ho Chi Minh City. Here is the website address: https://mohinhtinhvietnam.vn/ I paid cash, but I think they can accept PayPal. I asked about shipping to the U.S.; the owner was open to it, but said the cost is "very high." Happy diecast hunting!

SUV Saturday! Here we have a VinFast LUX SA2.0. Similar to yesterday's A2.0, the four doors are functional, and the front wheels are steerable. The real car is designed by Pininfarina and is based on the F15 BMW X5. The A2.0 is based on the F10 BMW 5 Series. Enjoy!

Beast Sunday! Let’s look at the anti-riot vehicle from Singapore. The technical name is Police Tactical Unit Tactical Vehicle, but locals called it Ang-Chia, the red vehicle. It is based on the Mercedes-Benz 1023A platform. Enjoy!
