Flew to Singapore today on a vintage Airbus 320. Check out the armrest repair. Also saw five Airbus A380 at Changi.
Look at all these forbidden fruits:
Also visited a local diecast store - Nikki Automodels. Mostly 1:18, 1:43., and 1/64, but I did find a very cool 1/24th scale vehicle…
Finally the Franklin mint series of 4 Cords complete. Are there any other colour samples?
@donderbeestje well done, a great model. I only have the original cream version. I believe that you have all 4. I think I've spotted a coupe/sedan kit around which would go well with my other.
@lu looks like you're having a good time there Lu. Model shop looks great. Looking forward to seeing what u have bought.
Meetings all day, but saw this on the road. At first, I thought it was a Corvette, which turned out to be a Mitsuoka Rock Star, a fiberglass-bodied Mazda Miata. I have not seen any American cars in Singapore yet. The road is dominated by Japanese, Korean, and Chinese brands and BBA (Benz, BMW, & Audi). I did see a couple of Citroen, Peugeot, Seat, and Skoda.
Another long day filled with meetings followed by a flight to Thailand.
A typical pick-up in Singapore:

Another day filled with meetings. I saw a GM Captiva. GM, WHY? Here are so many better products...
Also saw the Royal Protection Team...Yamaha FRJ + MBZ S350
Lastly, freedom fighters' favorite - Toyota Hilux. Did you notice that there is no rear bumper on it? Many pick-ups have no rear bumper because the bumper is typically sold as an option.
@lu Very cool, very interesting shots Lu! Thanks!
Is MG making a comeback? At least in Asia...
Also saw a Royal Thai Army troop transporter on the road...
Lastly, diesel + manual transmission = winner. Love these vintage busses...
Landed in Hanoi today and saw my first VinFast. VinFast is a Vietnamese automaker. The car is based on the previous generation BMW products.
Also rode in a Ford Transit with a manual transmission.
