congrats on having that T'Bird Lu. Probably DMs most expensive and sought after on the secondary market.

I too have the white 59 along with all of the T-Birds both mints offered. I bought it when it was first offered so I had no idea that it would be so rare.

Le Mans Sunday! Today we have a factory-built 1937 Bugatti 57G Tank from Le Mans Miniatures/Spark. I found this one at Nakano Broadway in Tokyo. The folded down windshield was missing, so I made one. Le Mans Miniatures also released the #1 car with a driver figure.

Aussie Monday! Here we have a 1976 GM Holden HX LE Coupe from Trax. The “LE” stands for “Limited Edition.” The U.S. sourced honeycomb wheels are similar to those installed on the second-generation Pontiac Firebird. Unlike Trax’s diecast line, the Coupe is a resin curbside model.

thanks Lu, thats an excellent rendition of an Australian icon. Trax did a great job with the 60s Monaros. This is the only quality 70s Monaro model although Greenlight/DDA have produced a couple of quite reasonable early 70s versions.

Le Mans Tuesday! Today we have a factory-built 1972 Matra-Simca MS670 from Le Mans Miniatures/Spark. The MS670 has a fiberglass body over aluminum monocoque design and a three-liter V12 power plant. The real car won the World Championship for Makes in 1973 and 1974. The model is beautifully done with many photo-etched parts.

Lambo Wednesday! Here we have a 1985 Lamborghini Countach 5000S police car from Franklin Mint (FM). If I remember correctly, this is the first FOP car and one of the very first FM cars sporting gigantic antennas. The build quality is impeccable, still no paint rash 😊

NSX Thursday! Today we have a 2005 Honda NSX from Tamiya’s Masterworks series. Similar to the LFA from last month, this NSX is essentially a factory-assembled and painted plastic kit. Enjoy!

Japanese Classic Saturday! Today we have a Toyota 2000 GT from Ebbro. The drivetrain can be separated from the body, and Ebbro even included stands for the body to sit on. The model was developed in 2003 under Mr. Shin Yoshikawa’s supervision. Enjoy!

@geoff-jowett I missed out on that model too.[PIC] I wound up with a 1/18 driverless  variant but I like yours better. They did a decent job on the driver on this also.
