WCPD just hit another Home Run. No, No that is 4 Home Runs with their new 1961 Impala Ht and convertibles. If you think the pictures of these cars look great wait until you see them. Thanks Brain, Paul, Bill and everyone else involved in bring these beautiful cars to us. My only question is why the Thrillometer only rates these as a 9.75 and 9.80?

Although some of the finest replicas of Impalas...

...they are not exactly replicas of rare 1:1 pieces or very old and hard to find antiques. And only in my personal opinion, did I not anticipate them rating as high or as important as, say, a Delahaye, Talbot Lago, Isotta Fraschini, or even lesser-known Auburns, Duesenbergs and the like, that we have precious few models of. Strictly a subjective call on my part. You, on the other hand, may rate it a 12 on a 10 scale if you are partial to that marque. But, hey, feel free to use my personal (old) Thrillometer to rank these fine little gems; the charge is right - free! LOL! :))

Actually I am a die hard Mopar kind of guy but most of all I guess I am just a big fan of cars from the 1960's. Of course you are correct that we each bring with us our own preferance of a era, a rarity of a model etc, etc, etc. I guess I just thought a review of a car would be based more on what it is and not on what it is not. JMHO.:D
