What do you think are the 3 most famous cars? Make, Model, and Year.
1. '65 Ford Mustang
2. '57 Chevy Bel Air
3. '67 Volkswagen Beetle (could be any 60ish but I just selected 1967)
'63 Corvette has to be there somewhere. 3a-3b? Tie?
57 Bel Air for sure.
The 1955 Chevy Bel Air would probably be in there somewhere also.
`59 Cadillac has to be up there, not unrecogizable by many people.
1957 Oldsmobile Super 88
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Actually Marlowe, I think you three are pretty good. I'd probably throw in the 55 T-Bird in over the VW Bug though. And I think the 49 Mercury coupe ranks pretty hight...if for nothing else the cult following it has associated with James Dean. Plus most car people remember the 58 Edsel, because of it's odd looks (at least at the time) and the stigma of failure that is tied to it.
But the 57 Chevy and 59 Caddy seem to be sentimental faves for most people.

Of all time? What about Ford Model T, Model A, 1932 Ford?
1959 Cadillac, 1957 Chevy, 1969 Camaro
If your talking about famous as in "Movie cars" or TV shows then.... General Lee Dodge Charger, "Kit" Night Rider TRans AM, and the 60s TV Show Batmobile.
Probably the '64 GTO should be in there somewhere.
'49 Mercury, '57 Chevy, '65 Mustang
1) RR Silver Ghost...... 2) Ford Model T...... 3) a tie... VW Beetle or Ford Mustang
Ford Model T - Mid 60's Beetle - 65 Pony
#1. 1989 Yugo GVX with heater #2 . Any year Aztec, #3. 1982 Chevrolet Citation with am radio.
An honorable mention should be given to the Cimarron for bringing a new level of luxury to the Cadillac nameplate.
You took the words right out of my mouth Pete; they just don't make them like they used to. LOL!
