WOW - DM 58 Bonneville showed up today
I am telling you, people... we are living in a golden age for miniature autos. I have never seen anything like the last two to hit my door - the '61 Impala from WCPD and now this one from DM. Stunning, right down to the cloth convetible top well. What next?!
I agree with those that would have preferred it without the continental tire - it does make it look very butt-heavy. But hey, that was the 50's style wasn't it?
By the way, I know there have been posts on how to keep the microscopic foil lettering attached to the car. Can someone please direct me to one of them? One of the 'E' letters is already trying to make good its escape.
Doug for the letters
Future floor wax, if you can find it!! I have gone to FOUR different markets.
None had this product. Maybe Legacy should sell small bottles.
MJD
Is this a liquid wax? What do you do, just spread it on and leave it?
I'd like to find out since I've "lost" some lettering from one or two of my diecasts.
It is not a wax, it's a clear acrylic. Most any supermarket carries this product in the floor care section. On this board, look in the "Features" section under "Diecast Nuts" and look at "Tips from Myron's Garage". Do a search on "Future" and you will find some info. on this product. This stuff is a lifesaver!
Thanks!
