An excellent video of the weekend, John. I was glad I was able to make it to the Sunday show and see you and others there. The shows are astounding in their variety and offerings and the 1/43's on display are beautiful ! (yep, even the two-tone Chevy wagon !)
Thanks, Mike. It's always good to see you on the weekends.

Thanks, John. You are always very gracious and friendly and the shows are excellent. For me, it is also true this year, at least, the alternative to being around and able to attend the show was not nearly so pleasant !
28 minutes! Who do you think you are, Spielberg?
That 1/18 GLM 1974 Cadillac Coupe de Ville looks fantastic. Sure would love to see them do some 1/18 Cadillac "full function composites" one day (similar to current 1/18 Autoarts). Who knows, right?
Also, @ 6:56 I noticed a NEO 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Sedan. I don't recall ever seeing that one (again, I'm no 1/43 expert). Is that an older hard-to-find-release?
Great vid John, thanks!
The Cosmopolitan fastback sedan is a NEO. Here is a better picture along with a Tintin notchback four door and a conversion into a two door coupe. The convertible is a Brooklin. The 1:1 Cosmopolitan was a rare car as it was discontinued half way through the 1949 model year.
And one of the "baby" 1949 Lincolns, the EL created from a modified Arena resin kit and a Road Champs Mercury also shown.
NEO models do not seem to be too active lately I am urging they re-launch their 1949 Chrysler New Yorker but not getting any encouragement. The black Chrysler shown, a blue one was planned but never happened.

@chris, Spielberg, Schmielberg! I'm shooting for the big time! I want to be the Popiel of 1/43!!

@john-quilter Thank you John. Yes indeed, that clears things up and the fact that NEO's Lincoln replicates that rare one-year-only-fastback-Cosmo makes it even cooler. Other Cosmopolitans continued until 1954 but you RARELY (if ever) see any Cosmos in any scale past 1951.
AWESOEME (as usual) line up!
The show looked like a great time, I'm sorry I missed it. Thank-you John for always informative "My Take" videos, I really do look forward to them.
I had hoped for a reissue on the '49 Chrysler as I missed the blue example. I am still hopeful.

I do not think the blue Chrysler ever actually got produced, was just planned for a while. NEO did however reinssue the black 1952 Chevrolet tin woody in maroon. FYI, The Chrysler photo I posted is a stock photo, not one of a model in my collection.

John, send me your email and I'll forward my correspondence urging the reinssue of the Chrysler with Model Car World in Germany who are now the owners of the NEO brand.
