Don't know if this has been posted but Kess is coming out with a 1/43 model of a '33 Pierce Arrow convertible sedan with coach work by Le Baron. There are two of these 1:1 cars. A friend on mine owns one of them. It is blue and silver. The other colors are Kess's idea. I think that the people of Kess must have saw the car at Pebble Beach or the Ironstone Concours as it was the only time it has been shown which was in 2022. I guess all they need to reproduce a model now days is pictures as Kess saw another of my friends car at the Palo Alto Concours and took pictures to produce that car, a '54 Chrysler Ghia which I posted some years ago. My friend bought the car out of the Acedemy Of Arts collection in San Francisco and went thru refurbishment of a few major components. The road lights are also Kess's idea. They say the model will be in the first quarter on this year.
Thanks for the pictures and writeup Curtis. The model is a must have for me.
Pretty cool stories Curtis and nice models too.
Excellent. These are in my wish list in the closed versions. I’ll have to watch for them.

Curtis, the two other colors either 2 tone green or black exist because I saw photos of the 1:1s.
@nickies There are only two of the 1933 Pierce convertible sedans that have a 139" wheelbase. The model was patterned from Pat Craig's light green 1:1 car. It has driving lights. My friend Bob Jacobsen owns the blue and silver one without driving lights. The black car is a 147" wheelbase car.
