BRK#19 was originally done in red. The casting was very accurate even by today’s standards, but it had no chrome detail. A black one followed still with no chrome detail. Then came BRK19A, done in this gleaming Platinum White with a fair amount of chrome detail. Another one of my favorites. Love that grille taken from the Imperial.

An excellent model-I really love the '55 Chrysler models from Brooklin. I have all of the 300s in all the colors. The Black BCC edition in before & after restoration is very special.
David, I enjoy your posts. The time you take to find the 1:1 photos is appreciated. Thanks.

@jcarnutz Thanks, John, it’s fun searching for the actual cars for comparison to the models. It’s amazing what’s out there.

My Dad drove one and I have this model as well.
I liked the pictures and comparisons of the BRK '55 300 in white, but the comment about the original red being largely absent of chrome didn't seem right. So tonight I found mine. I have a hunch that I agreed with Professor Knight and changed the Brooklin model just a little.
Gosh, cars of that era had a lot of chrome! (And I still like it!)
